These people are crafty. I spent more time dealing with them than healing during a previous recovery. I believe I will need to get an attorney this time. You will need to med rec and review with company and then with doc. Its a run around. My company changed provider for 2016 thank goodness. You must keep track of them, require email verification of every request, contact. Work with Dr. records in officei f they are knowledgable. Keep notes, contact your company HR dept and see if they can help you.

I faxed my information for a short term disability claim four weeks before my surgery. I was told everything is in order and completed I should get a call after surgery. I was never told I needed medical records to finish paperwork for this claim until a week after my surgery when I called them,at the time no one had been assigned to my claim and when James was assigned he told me he had to research my medical records for anything prior to January when my policy started. So here I am three weeks after my surgery, paid disability insurance for nine months still no money, still processing. By the time I get my payout I am probably going to be back to work. I feel like I paid for insurance that I am never going to get to use. Meanwhile out for six weeks with no paycheck.
